Do I pay My New Car SA anything?
No. Our service is completely free of charge to buyers. We earn a small success fee/commission from the supplying dealership after each successful deal.

You’re welcome to negotiate with a dealership yourself first. If you then contact My New Car SA, we’ll compare your offer and secure the best possible price we can. If our offer is better, you save money. If not, you can be confident your independent negotiation was already competitive.
Is the quoted price guaranteed?
All quotes are subject to stock availability, specification confirmation, and dealership terms.
Final pricing is confirmed by the supplying dealership in writing before payment or signing. Vehicle pricing can change due to stock changes, manufacturer increases, or spec adjustments, but we aim to ensure everything is clearly confirmed upfront so there are no surprises.
Do you only work with franchised dealerships?
Yes. We only work with reputable franchised automotive dealerships across South Africa to ensure authenticity, warranty validity, and a professional customer experience.

How long does the process take?
After you submit an enquiry, a franchised dealership will typically contact you within two business days (weekdays, excluding South African public holidays).
When should I engage with My New Car SA?
The best time is when you are genuinely ready to purchase. Either you know what you want, or you’re close and need help narrowing it down. We focus on serious enquiries because it helps us secure the best outcomes quickly and keeps the process efficient for buyers and dealers.
What if I don’t know exactly what car I want?

Can I test drive the vehicle?
Yes. Test drives are arranged directly with the dealership, subject to the dealership’s availability, demo stock, and normal requirements (license, appointment times, etc.).
Delivery, Warranty & Ownership
Does it matter where I live?
No, My New Car SA operates nationally.
If the supplying dealership is not near you, your vehicle can be delivered to your home or workplace via auto-carrier or driver (delivery fees and timing depend on distance and dealership arrangements).
How does delivery work?
You can either:
- Collect the vehicle directly from the dealership, or
- Arrange nationwide delivery via auto-carrier or driver
Delivery arrangements, timing, and any related fees are handled by the dealership.
Are warranty and service plans included?
Yes, every new vehicle includes the full manufacturer warranty and any service/maintenance plans where applicable to the model and offer.
Finance, Trade-ins & Extras
How do I order my new car?

4. You confirm cash/finance/lease with the dealership
5. The dealership finalizes paperwork, payment, and delivery/collection
IMPORTANT! All payments are made directly to the dealership.
How does financing work and how do I calculate monthly repayments?
For the best results, apply with your bank first to confirm your credit approval and interest rate.
Once approved, the dealership’s F&I representative can finalize the finance offer and may even help negotiate a better rate on your behalf.
You can use our finance/instalment calculator as a guideline, but final repayments and terms depend on your credit profile and the dealership’s finance offer. A common guideline is that monthly repayments shouldn’t exceed 30% of disposable income after deductions.
TIP! Avoid submitting multiple finance applications with different institutions on your own, as it may negatively affect your credit score.
Can I trade in my old car or add accessories?
Yes, depending on what you need:
- Trade-ins: We don’t handle trade-ins directly, but you can request trade-in offers from the dealership and compare them against car-buying services (e.g., WeBuyCars, Weelee).
- Accessories & extras: We can arrange optional extras through the dealership (smash-and-grab, tracking, tow bars, paint protection, extended warranties, tyres, etc.).
